Beer Of The Week

Hop, Nosh & Mosh with Uinta’s Flagship IPA…

This week’s beer of the week is another left (west) coast great. Hailing from Uinta Brewery in Salt Lake City, UT. I present to you Hop Nosh IPA. Named after Utah’s most eastern county Uintah County. Uinta Brewery was founded in 1993 in a renovated mechanics garage turned brewery. One of the first beers Unita put into production was their Cutthroat Pale Ale. Coined the “State Beer of Utah” being named after the Utah’s state fish. By the year 2000, Uinta moved out of that dusty garage and began building a bigger and better brewery. Now on to OUR beer of the week Hop Nosh is a year-round brew with a featherweight percentage of 7.3 ABV. It’ll serve very refreshing on a great day by the pool, or while you’re out playing an adult game of kickball at the BBQ. The lime zest and pine hints give it that crisp refreshing “ah” feeling. While still being true to its name and IPA nature it is very hoppy and aromatic, expect a slight surprise hint of grapefruit and caramel malt to finish it off. Hop Nosh goes great as a brunch beer or beer-mosa. As Uinta motto says this beer “Goes Well With Anywhere”
