Caught Em’ Slipping

Jose Bautista in game five of the American League Division Series at Rogers Centre on October 14, 2015 in Toronto, Canada.

Jose Bautista is slicker than oil…

Saturday the Toronto Blue Jays and the Seattle Mariners faced off at Safeco Field. With the Blue Jays up by one at the top of the 8th inning, something strange happened. Relief pitcher Tony Zych walks Blue Jays right fielder Jose Bautista. I know your thinking but wait that’s not strange. The odd thing was after the walk Zych stepped off the mound and turned his back to Bautista. While his back was turned, Bautista took it upon himself to steal second base. This and a few other misfortunes on the Mariners part leads to the Jays stealing the game 4-2. Toronto now sits at the bottom of the American League Eastern Division with 30 wins and 32 losses. Watch the steal after the jump.
